“It’s the MOST wonderful time…of the year!” At least it is if your a member on Team-Empower. The Annual International Convention is just around the corner and it has the power to transform your business and your life. Not kidding. If you want to make more than a couple hundred dollars per month, you’ve just got to be there. This is your only chance for the entire year to gather as a group and get supercharged.  It’s like pouring rocket fuel on the fires of your goals and dreams.

Here are just some of the things you’ll get by being there:

• Meet and talk with the top level corporate executives  (be sure to get pics!)
• Be the first to learn about new products and tools to help accelerate your success 
• Attend breakout training sessions by the most successful leaders who give their knowledge to you for free!
• Hear amazing keynote speakers that you would have to pay hundreds or thousands to see outside of convention
• Talk and laugh with other members just like you to share stories and support one another in success

I speak from the heart when I tell you every time I’ve gone to convention, it has changed my life and made me a better person – EVERY TIME!   And it always shows up as a surprise – it never shows up where I think it will (isn’t that funny how life works?).

Now if you started some type of franchise, the franchise organization MAKES  you attend some sort of training university for a week or more before you can open the doors and start making money.  And if you have a normal J-O-B (that’s Just-Over-Broke for those unfamiliar with the term) how much of your LIFE is sucked up with endless meetings, blah, blah, blah?!

Now, just because it’s fun doesn’t mean you should go (or does it?).  And just because the company has given away cool stuff like cars, trips, cruises, etc. doesn’t mean you should go (or does it?).  Just because you’ll learn some rockin’ skills and tools that will help grow your business doesn’t mean you should go (well, maybe it does…but here’s my point…).

This is your only chance for the entire year to make this happen.  You either get it, or you miss it – there are no second chances.  Watching the Berlin Wall come down on TV is not the same as being there.   Having someone describe how MaryLou Retton scored another 10 on her second vault during the Olympics is not the same as watching her do it.  Having your upline tell you about convention is not the same as being there to experience it yourself.

This is it – only once a year you get to come together as one group, one team, one family all focused on the same purpose, the same dream.  And there is unbelievable magic and power in that.  Surround yourself and marinate with the people who care about your success, who share your dream and who can vault you to the top. 

At the risk of sounding a little religious – it’s Christmas time in August!  But you have to be there to get your gifts so be like Santa, don’t be a Scrooge, bring your team so they can receive their gifts too.  So Ho-ho-ho, Merry Convention!  See you there…

This is it – the jumping off place for taking control of your life. It’s exciting in that kindof nauseous, kindof thrilling way. All around us, it seems the world is full of unmoored ships adrift in a sea of fear, uncertainty, victimhood and blame. People, companies, government all crying “Doom! Oh whoa is me!” But not you. Isn’t it nice to be captain of your own ship? Setting off on a journey takes courage and once you’ve pushed off from the dock – well who knows what’s in store? Ships in harbor are safe, but that’s not what ships are made for. There will be storms as well as adventure on the high seas – and remember, any fool can steer the ship but it takes a leader, to chart the course. Know where you are going and why. Then it’s anchors away! So smash that champagne on the hull then sail on, captains, sail on!
